Job summary

MasTec Renewables’ Safety team is seeking a field-oriented Safety Coordinator to support safety functions across assigned job sites. You will conduct site safety orientation, trainings, audits, and incident responses while traveling throughout the US.

You will collaborate with Safety Managers to promote a proactive safety culture, manage PPE supplies, and support safety programs. This role requires strong communication, organization, and on-site presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of construction experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present safety training for the job site and client requirements.
• Provide safety leadership to promote excellent safety performance.
• Assist with inputting and reviewing incident reports when needed.
• Assist in executing jobsite safety plans.
• Promote and participate in the R4 safety program.
• Review corporate policies and SOPs regularly.
• Understand lockout/tagout procedures in a safe manner.
• Communicate safety matters to management.
• Ensure safety documentation is complete and accurate.
