Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services seeks a Safety Program Manager to execute corporate worksite health and safety programs at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will develop site-specific plans, train staff, and ensure compliance with safety regulations across the contract.

The role requires five years of safety program experience (or CSP) and an OSHA 30-hour General Industry credential, with a strong emphasis on leadership and communication. U.S. citizenship and a SECRET clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in preparing and enforcing safety programs on contracts of similar size and complexity.
• Formal safety and health coursework: 24 hours every four years.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926 requirements.
• Collect and maintain EMR ratings and OSHA DART rates for subcontractors.
• Prepare and update Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA).
• Coordinate and deliver safety training and maintain training records.
• Investigate property damage and personal injury incidents to determine causes and preventive measures.
