CBRE Government & Defense seeks a Site Safety and Health Officer to implement the corporate health and safety program at the Quantico site, ensuring compliance with EM 385-1-1 and 29 CFR 1926/1910. You will train workers, develop and administer site-specific safety programs, and coordinate closely with site leadership to sustain a robust safety culture.

This role requires at least five years of safety program experience on large contracts (three years if CSP or safety-related degree), OSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of safety program experience on contracts of similar size and complexity; or 3 years if CSP certification or safety/health degree.
• Must have completed OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety course or equivalent.
• Must maintain English proficiency to understand regulations, orders, procedures and training materials.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and enforce the Contractor's safety program per contract requirements.
• Ensure EM 385-1-1 Section 1, 29 CFR 1926.16 compliance.
• Ensure 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926 requirements are met.
• Maintain EMR ratings for subcontractors and provide to Government upon request.
• Maintain self-certified OSHA DART rates for subcontractors and provide to Government upon request.
• Prepare and update the Accident Prevention Plan (APP).
• Review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) to assess APP effectiveness.
• Schedule and deliver safety training and maintain records.
• Investigate incidents to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
• Prepare incident/accident reports for OSHA and others.
