Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Wichita Falls, TX, seeks a Site Safety & Health Officer (L1 SSHO) for Sheppard AFB. The SSHO will manage the Safety and Health Program for all operations and maintenance under the contract, developing and administering the Accident Prevention Plan and site-specific safety procedures to meet EM 385-1-1, OSHA, DHA, and MTF standards.

This role requires OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, at least 5 years of safety management, and the ability to coordinate hazard analyses, training,

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required.
• Minimum 5 years continuous safety management experience.
• Eight hours of documented safety training annually for the previous five years.
• Experience supervising safety programs within O&M, industrial, or construction environments.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1.
• Experience conducting hazard analyses and implementing controls.

• Monitor KG safety compliance
• Conduct workplace safety inspections
• Investigate accidents and near misses
• Lead monthly safety meetings

• Monitor subcontractor compliance
• Support OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and MTF inspections
• Maintain EMR and DART records
• Ensure Alternate/secondary SSHO coverage
