Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead safety programs across construction and industrial projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong safety culture. The role emphasizes training, incident investigation, and collaboration with project teams.

The position requires extensive experience in heavy civil construction safety, security clearance capability, and familiarity with federal design-build project safety standards. Travel to project sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety programs and site safety management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into project plans.
• Provide safety training and orientation to employees and contractors, emphasizing PPE use.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses and prepare detailed corrective action reports.
• Maintain records of inspections, training, incidents, and safety communications.
• Conduct job hazard analyses to identify risks for tasks/sites.
• Monitor safety program effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with safety best practices and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance.
