Upchurch is seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator based in Greenwood, MS (with duties across Horn Lake, MS and the Memphis area) to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a strong safety culture on construction and service projects.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, industrial, or service environments; 5 years in a dedicated safety role (construction/heavy service).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems; comfortable with AI tools in safety.

Responsibilities

• Support and advance safety initiatives across project and service operations.
• Conduct site inspections and audits; document findings and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training for employees, temporary workers, and subcontractors.
