Job summary

Target Corp in Wisconsin is seeking a Site Safety Manager to own and execute the assigned site safety program. You will lead data analysis, trend reviews, Leader Standard Work, and hazard assessments while delivering clear leadership communications to drive a strong safety culture across the site.

You will ensure all risk and compliance obligations are met, coordinate with HR and Claims teams, and support regulator visits. The role covers 500–2,000 team members with some travel as required.

Qualifications

• Industry expertise or related field with proven leadership.
• Able to manage complex operations within Safety.
• OSHA/other safety compliance knowledge and applicabil ity.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills (root cause thinking).
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven knowledge and use of Microsoft products.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the assigned site safety program.
• Lead data analysis, trend review, Leader Standard Work, and hazard assessments.
• Ensure all risk and compliance obligations are met at leadership and TM levels.
• Influence key safety priorities and sustain a strong safety culture.
• Develop a strategic site Safety action plan and drive improvements.
• Manage vendor interactions in collaboration with HR, Sedgwick and Claims teams.
• Lead regulatory visits (OSHA/EPA/Fire) and remediation efforts.
• Support complex buildings (RDC, FDC) and payroll exposure with training and communication.

Education

Bachelor Degree / B.A. or B.S. or equivalent experience
