Job summary

Heart to Heart Hospice in League City, TX is seeking a Site Revenue Coordinator to manage accurate patient billing data entry and payer coordination. You will support Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements to ensure timely reimbursement.

The role requires healthcare data entry experience, AR/billing expertise, and a valid driver's license. A company vehicle is provided for eligible individuals and a strong emphasis on compliance with regulations is expected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; Associates degree in accounting preferred
• At least 2 years' healthcare data entry experience preferred in home health hospice or similar operation
• Two to three years accounts receivable/billing experience in health or insurance fields in an institutional environment preferred
• Experience with EMR software is a plus
• Valid State Driver's License
• Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing auto liability insurance

Responsibilities

• Enter patient billing data, nursing home rates, level of care, per diem, and physician billing or charges.
• Coordinate, review, and analyze documentation supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements for accurate billing.
• Manage accounts receivable tracking tools and files to ensure timely claim submission and revenue preservation.
• Verify payer identification and review HIQA and secondary payer questionnaire.
• Provide backup for Intake Coordinator and ensure timely submission of all documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and company policies.

Site Revenue Coordinator

What You Must Have:

• High school graduate or equivalent experience; Associates degree in accounting or equivalent insurance or bookkeeping experience preferred
• At least 2 years' experience in healthcare data entry preferred, in a home health hospice, or similar operation
• Two to three years accounts receivable/billing experience in health or insurance fields in an institutional environment, preferred in home health, hospice or similar operation preferred
• Experience with EMR software is a plus
• Valid State Driver's License
• Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance

What You Will Do:

• Accurately enter patient/client billing data, nursing home rates, level of care, per diem, and physician billing or charges, visit charges, fee for service charges, and verify discharge and admission data
• Coordinate, review, and analyze documentation and data entry supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements to ensure accurate and timely billing

• Coordinate, review and analyze accounts receivable tracking tools and maintains accounts receivable files in order to ensure accurate and timely claim submission and to prevent loss revenue
• Ensure that the appropriate payers have been identified and verified; including securing and reviewing the HIQA and the secondary payer questionnaire
• Provide back up for the Intake Coordinator
• Timely submission of all documentation
• Performance of other duties as required
• Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
