Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II in Chandler, AZ, offering hybrid work. You will ensure reliability of on-prem and cloud container platforms (OpenShift, Rancher, AKS) and drive automation to improve operations.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, scripting (Python, Ansible, Golang), and cloud-monitoring tools, with a focus on security and incident handling.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes, OpenShift, RKE, or EKS container platforms.
• Strong scripting: Python, Ansible, Golang, shell; experience with IAM, Linux/Windows, and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliability and support for Container Platforms on-prem and in clouds (Azure/AWS/Google).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, connectivity, and security issues in OpenShift, Rancher, and AKS.
• Lead RCA and remediation with engineering and ops teams; manage incident lifecycle.
