Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Chandler, AZ seeks a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join as a Site Reliability Engineer on a 12-month contract. Hybrid work arrangement with some on-site requirements in Chandler.

You will design and deploy automated workflows, support GRID and cloud offerings, and lead automation initiatives with Python, Ansible, and Terraform, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and documentation.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in infrastructure or software engineering.
• 6+ years of experience with Python and Ansible.
• 6+ years of experience with shell/Bash scripting.
• Exposure to large enterprise grid deployment and/or cloud integration.
• Experience with Go, XML, XSLT, SOAP, RESTful, and SQL.
• Proficiency with CLI, third-party APIs, and integration.
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with Terraform as code and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and data-driven automations.
• Understanding of DNS, Active Directory, Kerberos, SMTP, Apache.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operations and project support for infrastructure, focusing on GRID and cloud offerings.
• Develop, test, and deploy automated workflows to support IT objectives.
• Research and implement process or technology enhancements.
• Offer expert consultation for complex automation workflows.
• Deliver solutions that integrate technologies to perform desired functions.
• Create and deliver technical documentation for all completed projects.
• Support shift and weekend coverage requirements.
