Job summary

OneAZ Credit Union is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of our technology platforms. The role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, monitoring, and resiliency across on‑premises and cloud environments.

The engineer will implement automation with PowerShell and scripting, administer enterprise monitoring, and lead disaster recovery testing while partnering with multiple teams to improve service reliability and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or engineering; or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years supporting enterprise infrastructure and monitoring platforms.
• Deep knowledge of networking, cloud tech, Windows Server, virtualization, and storage.
• Experience with disaster recovery testing, failover planning, and business continuity.
• Experience administering SolarWinds in a large enterprise environment is preferred.
• Experience in financial institutions or regulated industries preferred.
• Azure hybrid cloud experience and ITIL familiarity are pluses.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize SolarWinds and other monitoring platforms.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, reports, and performance metrics.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and performance; proact with issue mitigation.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery validation.
• Develop runbooks, recovery procedures, and test plans.
• Coordinate system failover/failback activities for critical systems.
• Improve resiliency through cross-team collaboration and incident response.
• Document recovery activities and report DR testing results.
