Job summary

Equifax is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Tech Engineering and Service Ops team in Atlanta. This role blends software and systems engineering to build and operate large-scale distributed systems with emphasis on reliability, security, and performance.

You will collaborate with development and operations, implement infrastructure as code, monitor systems, and contribute to incident management in a 24/7 on-call environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a DevSecOps environment responsible for building and running large-scale, massively distributed systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build highly available, cost-effective systems with extremely high uptime metrics.
• Coordinate with cloud operations to resolve tickets, develop scripts, and troubleshoot.
• Create tools and scripts for auto-remediation of incidents and end-to-end monitoring.
• Build infrastructure as code patterns using Terraform, scripting, and cloud SDK.
• Join a 24/7 on-call team for incident and problem management in a follow-the-sun model.
