Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation seeks a Site Reliability Engineer in Austin, TX to own infrastructure reliability for AWS, GAIA, and GKP. You will design, deploy, and optimize automated pipelines, monitor systems, and lead incident response to ensure services remain highly available and performant.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in SRE/DevOps, strong scripting, Terraform experience, and a solid grasp of SLIs/SLOs. The role targets scalable, cost-conscious cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS infrastructure and cloud services experience.
• GAIA and GKP infrastructure experience.
• Experience with deployment, configuration, and environment management.
• Monitoring, alerting, logging, and telemetry implementation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Understanding of Linux/Unix, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security basics.
• Knowledge of incident management and production support processes.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: design, deploy, manage GAIA/GKP and AWS infrastructure.
• Automation and Tooling: develop scripts to reduce manual tasks.
• Deployment and Release Management: automate pipelines and manage releases.
• Monitoring and Observability: implement dashboards and telemetry solutions.
• Incident Management: respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• SRE Practices: define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs to improve service reliability.
• Performance and Capacity: monitor resources and optimize costs.
• IaC: automate provisioning with Terraform or similar tools.
• Security and Compliance: implement security best practices and access controls.
