Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation seeks an experienced Senior AWS DevOps/SRE Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. You will lead reliability initiatives, automate operations with Python, and drive CI/CD across teams.

Responsibilities include Kubernetes management, IaC implementation, security hardening, and incident response. A strong background in Linux, cloud services, and observability is required for production excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes.
• Advanced Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong Python scripting/automation skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong production troubleshooting and incident management experience.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, scalability, and high availability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage highly available infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain DevOps/SRE practices focused on reliability, scalability, automation, and performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems in production environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance, and capacity using observability and monitoring tools.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
• Implement best practices for security, networking, access management, and cloud governance.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve deployment speed and system reliability.
• Collaborate with application developers, architects, security teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Establish and improve SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, alerting, and reliability metrics.
• Support production releases, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and business continuity initiatives.
