Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Reliability/Platform Engineer to maintain and improve the resilience of digital infrastructure. The role centers on automation, monitoring, and incident management to ensure high uptime and efficient operations.

The candidate should have CS/engineering background with 3+ years’ related experience and hands-on CI/CD, cloud-native deployments, and mentoring in reliability practices. This is a full-time role based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related work experience or advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience
• Study areas include Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science (preferred)
• 2–4 years developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• 2–4 years implementing and managing cloud-native platforms
• 2–4 years guiding and mentoring reliability teams

Responsibilities

• Automate processes to improve system reliability and reduce manual tasks
• Monitor systems proactively to minimize incidents and maintain service continuity
• Streamline software development and deployment for operational efficiency
• Develop scripts and tools to reduce manual effort in routine activities
• Manage incident response for rapid recovery and minimal disruption
• Adapt to new technologies to sustain system performance
• Other duties/projects as assigned by management
