Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and optimize infrastructure for internal services, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, data platform interoperability, and scalable, reliable systems across on-prem, AWS, and Azure.

You will own day-to-day hybrid infrastructure operations, implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and participate in on-call incident response to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of related work experience or equivalent
• 2-4+ years designing scalable infrastructure systems
• 2-4+ years implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• 2-4+ years integrating and optimizing data platforms across technologies

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops resilient, scalable infrastructure systems
• Own day-to-day operations of hybrid infrastructure supporting platform services
• Ensure uptime, performance, and security across on-prem, AWS, and Azure
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, configuration, and deployment issues
• Lead patching, updates, and configuration management
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive incident response improvements
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform infrastructure
• Build and maintain observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Develop automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents
• Collaborate with Agile teams to drive delivery excellence
