Job summary

TeamViewer is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of its Azure-based SaaS platform. You will work with a forward-thinking team supporting users worldwide and shaping future cloud-native architectures.

The role focuses on automating infrastructure, deploying releases, and improving monitoring and automation systems to guarantee 24/7 service reliability. Candidates should have strong Azure experience and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in CS/SE/IT or equivalent
• 3+ years in SRE/DevOps/software roles
• Strong Azure experience; AWS/GCP is a plus
• IaC and automation tooling proficiency
• Containers and orchestration experience
• Databases knowledge (MS SQL, Postgres)
• Monitoring/observability tooling experience
• Distributed systems & test automation
• Network security principles
• Fluent English is required

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure for a global SaaS platform.
• Deploy feature and maintenance releases.
• Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation systems for 24/7 reliability.
• Improve infrastructure through automation and IaC.
• Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot incidents.

Responsibilities

As a Site Reliability Engineer at TeamViewer, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Azure-based SaaS platform. You’ll work with a forward-thinking team that powers our core products and services, delivering a seamless experience to users worldwide.

• Build and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure for our global SaaS platform.
• Deploy feature and maintenance releases.
• Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation systems to guarantee 24/7 service reliability.
• Continuously improve infrastructure through automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure rapid resolution of operational issues.
• Proactively identify and mitigate reliability risks, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (AWS or GCP is a plus).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Argo CD).
• Familiarity with programming languages and scripting (including PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of databases (e.g. MS SQL, Postgres).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Understanding of distributed systems, parallel programming, and test automation.
• Solid grasp of network security principles and best practices.
• A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English
