Job summary

TeamViewer, Austin, TX-based, seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of our Azure-based SaaS platform. You will drive automation, shape the platform, and work with cloud-native technologies to deliver a seamless experience worldwide.

The role emphasizes 24/7 service reliability, monitoring, and proactive risk mitigation, with opportunities to deploy releases and participate in on-call rotations. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (AWS or GCP is a plus).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools (Terraform, Argo CD).
• Familiarity with programming/scripting (PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Understanding of distributed systems, parallel programming, and test automation.
• Solid grasp of network security principles and best practices.
• A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure for our global SaaS platform.
• Deploy feature and maintenance releases.
• Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation systems to guarantee 24/7 service reliability.
• Continuously improve infrastructure through automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure rapid resolution of operational issues.
• Proactively identify and mitigate reliability risks, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$125,000 USD annually. This range represents the base pay TeamViewer reasonably expects to offer for this role and may vary based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, location, business needs, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for TeamViewer’s company bonus and RSU program.
