Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Site Quality Manager to drive quality and operational excellence across the site, delivering compliant products while minimizing cost of poor quality. You will lead QA, QC, inspection, and quality engineering teams, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to prevent defects and promote zero defects culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (OR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quality, manufacturing, operations, engineering, or repair services.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion Quality - Drive and implement effective quality culture into the organization (Zero Defect Framework)
• Own shop operation quality metrics and drive systematic analysis & improvement actions
• Implement effective Quality Management System
• Maintain / roll out procedures and update to operations
• Implement and lead process and quality improvement projects
• Work with engineering and operation to identify, analyze, and solve quality issues
• Lead inspection team to meet safety, quality, production, and delivery metrics
• Develop and implement process controls for critical processes
• Drive root cause analysis for quality issues
• Lead quality risk assessment on operation processes to mitigate risks
• Train the Quality Team and site Operations on quality tools and practices
