Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Intergalactic Site Quality Leader in Saint George, Utah to lead the quality organization, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory and customer satisfaction. You will mentor Quality Engineers, align site KPIs with business goals, and partner across operations, engineering, and supply chain to prevent defects and improve process capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in quality/engineering or 8+ years with high school diploma.
• Experience leading quality, manufacturing, or engineering teams.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional improvement and customer-focused results.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality engineers with coaching and performance management.
• Own site-level quality strategy, KPIs, and operating rhythms aligned to requirements.
• Drive compliance to quality systems, standards, and customer specs.
• Partner with manufacturing, sourcing, and engineering to prevent defects and improve capability.
• Lead root-cause and corrective actions for internal, customer, and supplier issues.
• Monitor scrap, rework, escapes, first-pass yield, and cost of poor quality.
