Job summary

Herzog Energy, Inc. is seeking a Site Project Manager in the United States to lead daily site operations for utility-scale solar and battery storage (BESS) projects.

The role requires coordinating field activities with subcontractors, vendors, and engineering teams to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction or field management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with construction management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of construction management or field management experience preferred.
• Experience supporting utility-scale solar, renewable energy, BESS, or heavy civil construction projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and interpret contract documents.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
• Ability to travel up to 75% with long durations on location.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations for utility-scale solar and BESS projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate and manage field activities between subcontractors, vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
• Drive execution of site activities by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and supporting timely resolution of project challenges.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and project requirements to ensure field activities are completed in accordance with contract documents.
• Manage and track site progress, including schedule updates, manpower needs, material availability, and subcontractor performance.
• Support project meetings, progress reporting, and coordination efforts throughout the construction process.
• Assist with quality control processes, inspections, documentation, and project closeout requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and field leadership to support project objectives and successful completion.
