Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Project Manager to supervise mix batch plant activities, ensure on-time delivery, and drive safety, quality and customer satisfaction on assigned projects.

You will oversee staffing, batching, driver supervision, and cost control while maintaining strong client relationships and collaborating with plant management to meet deadlines and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ACI Level 1 Field Certification.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company safety rules and conduct safety meetings; ensure facilities are operating in a safe manner.
• Oversee large-scale project managing all aspects to successful completion - ensuring deadlines are met, staffing is appropriate and scheduled efficiently and within budget
• Supports plant manager in batching operations in an efficient and safe manner while complying with all local, state and federal regulations, including but not limited to: OSHA, MSHA, DEP, etc.
• Oversee the customer experience, develop customer relationship and ensure strong communication throughout the project.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Cost responsibility at their assigned locations. Strive to lower cost and increase productivity through efficiency and innovations.
• Conduct various meetings as directed by management.
• Manage jobsite quality control testing. Utilizes personnel to complete submittal process for applicable jobs within given timeframes.
• Conduct weekly forecast and maintain accurate inventory control.
