Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Site Project Manager to lead design-build contracts focused on Fire Alarm and Mass Notification Life Systems in Tracy, California. The role requires coordinating with design teams, field operations, and federal clients to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will own cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance, define project scope and deliverables, resolve issues, manage resources, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years of construction experience
• Experience with federal projects
• Experience leading Fire Safety or Electrical Power Systems
• Ability to pass a government background check

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of assigned projects
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support project goals in collaboration with business development and the proposal strategies
• Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
• Manage, develop and coordinate customer requirements of complex systems and define integration requirements across multiple systems/processes
• Document project progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks and successes to maintain project course
