Job summary

B&S Site Development is a fast-growing leader in large-parcel, mission-critical site development, delivering complex, time-sensitive civil construction projects for demanding clients. Project Engineers collaborate with field managers to plan, oversee budgets, schedules, and quality across multiple sites.

They routinely interact with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, visit sites, manage material procurement, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
• OSHA 10/30 certification required
• Minimum of 1 year in construction management or related field preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Proven leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Maintain and monitor project budgets and forecast changes
• Track project performance against schedules and quality metrics
• Document and report progress through logs and formal updates
• Coordinate with field personnel to align plans and execution
• Manage material procurement and delivery schedules
• Assist with project scheduling and critical path analysis
• Support quality control and regulatory compliance
• Review construction plans and communicate changes to field teams
• Identify and resolve project issues with PM and field leadership
• Prepare project documentation such as RFIs and change orders
• Ensure safety standards and participate in site safety meetings
• Build relationships with clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors
• Visit project sites regularly to verify work and progress
