Job summary

B&S Site Development is hiring a Project Engineer to manage planning and processes across multiple site development projects. You will coordinate with field managers, monitor budgets, schedules, and quality while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires collaboration with project managers, regular site visits, and effective communication with clients and subcontractors to drive successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline required
• Strong time management and analytical skills
• Proven leadership skills and ability to coordinate with field teams
• OSHA 10/30 certification required
• Experience in construction management or site development preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify requirements and progress
• Monitor and manage project budgets and change orders
• Track schedule milestones, production rates, and quality metrics
• Document progress through daily logs and weekly updates
• Coordinate with field personnel to align plans with field execution
• Procure and schedule materials to meet project specs
• Support project scheduling and identify critical path activities
• Contribute to safety compliance and site safety meetings
• Review construction plans and communicate changes to field teams
• Resolve issues by coordinating with project management and field leadership
• Prepare project documentation (RFIs, submittals, changes) and ensure regulatory compliance
