Job summary

B&S Site Development in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Project Engineer to manage planning and processes of civil site development projects, working with a Project Manager and field teams. You will coordinate meetings, track budgets and schedules, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will visit project sites regularly, manage materials, and prepare documentation such as RFIs and change orders. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with collaboration and time management software (Bluebeam, Excel, Office).
• OSHA 10/30 certification.
• Minimum 1 year of construction management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify requirements and review progress.
• Maintain and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
• Track project performance including schedule milestones and quality metrics.
• Document and report project progress through logs and formal reports.
• Coordinate with field personnel to align plans with execution.
• Manage material procurement and delivery schedules.
• Assist with project scheduling and timeline updates.
• Support quality control to meet specs and safety standards.
• Review construction plans and communicate changes to teams.
• Identify and resolve project issues with the Project Manager and field leadership.
