Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Site Project Controls Lead in El Paso, TX. You will lead all project controls across multiple plant projects, directing cost estimating, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting to ensure successful execution.

The role drives risks, changes, and performance metrics with a strong team of engineers, schedulers, and surveyors. You will ensure SOP-aligned reporting, maintain baselines, and support procurement and DOA controls.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field with 8+ years of project controls experience.
• Experience with ERP systems SAP and P6.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-paced project environment.
• Site-specific MSHA training.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee all project controls across multiple plant engineering projects.
• Develop, implement, and manage cost estimating, control, forecasting, progress measurement, planning and scheduling, and reporting.
• Leads/Engineers, Schedulers/Planners, and Quantity Surveyors to ensure consistency and alignment with objectives.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts; analyze variances and risks.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly project controls reports per SOPs.
• Identify design changes, scope mods, and delays; manage Change Orders/PCN Log.
• Maintain project schedule baselines; monitor variances and recovery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project controls standards and document control.
• Oversee progress measurement and accuracy of reported progress.
• Review AFE requests; manage DOA and budget checks.
• Develop and maintain WBS codes for scope organization.
• Perform other duties as required.
