Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Lead for Morenci. You will oversee cost estimating, control, forecasting, progress measurement, and reporting across multiple plant projects on-site in Morenci, AZ.

Lead a team of engineers, schedulers, and cost professionals; maintain baselines; drive risk mitigation and change management; ensure SOP-compliant reporting and data integrity. Excellent communication and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field with 8 years of project controls experience, or high school diploma with 12 years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, P6) and other enterprise project performance software.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee all project controls across multiple plant projects.
• Develop and manage cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, progress reporting and planning.
• Provide leadership to Cost Leads/Engineers and Schedulers/Planners.
• Maintain monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts; analyze variances and risks.
• Ensure timely delivery of project controls reports per SOPs.
• Validate change orders and manage DOA processes; EPMS data.
