Job summary

Morton Salt, Inc. is seeking a Site Production Applications Solution Consultant to support and improve critical systems that enable production, quality, and maintenance across plants and stockpiles.

The role focuses on scale automation, RFID technology, Windows Server, and MS SQL Server with strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable, scalable operations. You will oversee software deployments, vendor coordination, licensing renewals, and integration with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 3+ years supporting scale automation, weighing, RFID tech and plant-floor apps.
• 3+ years with Windows Server 2019 and MS SQL Server 2019+.
• 3+ years deploying software in Windows environments.
• Experience running/creating SQL scripts for auditing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot across apps, databases, integrations, and devices.
• Experience with system integration and business processes.
• Knowledge of testing, deployment planning, and upgrade oversight.
• Experience with vendor coordination, licensing, renewals, and procurement support.
• Strong collaboration with plant personnel, Help Desk, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support scale automation and weighing systems including RFID devices.
• Coordinate with Help Desk and infrastructure to resolve outages.
• Maintain Windows systems, networking, printers, and related devices.
• Monitor integration between scale systems and ERP for reliable processing.
• Run and create SQL scripts for data audits and troubleshooting.
• Oversee upgrades and coordinate deployment with vendors and cloud teams.
