Job summary

Morton Industries LLC is seeking a Programmer to develop, maintain, and improve software applications, databases, reports, and system integrations supporting manufacturing operations.

This role partners with staff across departments to understand needs, troubleshoot issues, and create reliable solutions that enhance efficiency and data accuracy, while supporting existing systems and safeguarding information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/related field.
• 3 years of computer programming experience preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP software (SyteLine) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for business and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities.
• Update and enhance programs to improve functionality, performance, and usability.
• Troubleshoot errors, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
• Develop and maintain database queries, reports, and tools for accurate business info.
• Support ERP applications, reporting, troubleshooting, and system integrations.
• Document logic, configurations, changes, and support procedures.
