Job summary

Amazon is seeking leaders to work with the Central Operations Process Engineering team to drive process stabilization, standardization and continuous improvement across the Global Customer Fulfillment network.

The role focuses on developing standard work, training operational leaders, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver network-wide initiatives. Travel up to 50% is required and lifting up to 49 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance objectives and metrics across the site to identify improvement opportunities and gaps to benchmark performance.
• Audit, teach, and drive execution to the benchmark standards and lead continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to support daily operations within process control limits.
• Partner with FC leaders to implement standard work and process improvements across the super region.
• Train operational leaders to reduce variation in process standards.
• Review inputs, coordinate training, share best practices, and document improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Measure and communicate variation reduction impacts with site leaders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, AFT, Learning, Talent Development, and ACES on network-wide initiatives.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to FCs within the designated region.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
