Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Central Operations Process Engineering team. This role focuses on reducing variation, standardizing processes, and driving continuous improvement across the Global Customer Fulfillment network.

You will prioritize efforts in buildings, regions, and super regions, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to high standards in process execution and data interpretation. Up to 50% travel is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance objectives and metrics across the site and super region to identify improvement opportunities.
• Audit, teach, and drive execution to benchmark standards for continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to support daily operations within control limits.
• Partner with FC leaders to execute standard work and improvements across the super region.
• Train operational leaders on knowledge gaps to reduce variation in standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, AFT, Learning and Talent Development and ACES to deploy network-wide initiatives.
• Travel up to 50% to FCs across the designated super region (may travel outside for trainings).
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
