Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations with safety and productivity at the forefront. The role is the final step before taking over your own site and includes training new hires and overseeing staff to meet customer needs.

You will manage budgeting, scheduling, and performance coaching, with 2-5 years of leadership in distribution or transportation and a base salary of $80,000 plus bonus potential, plus benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• 2 years of leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong organization and prioritizing.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; prepare management reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Create daily work logs and balance deposits; transmit to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer/associate issues daily.
• Enforce Capstone policies and safety rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings with participation.
• Assist in managing site and departmental budgets.
• Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Supervise data entry and payroll records.
• Complete daily closeout per Capstone SOP.
