Eastern Metal Supply is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all location operations including transportation, receiving, warehousing, and value-added services. You will drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement while aligning with company strategy.

Lead cross-functional teams, enforce lean inventory, manage budgets, and mentor staff to ensure world-class service and productivity. A ten-year warehouse supervisory background is preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
• Ten years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Certified forklift or Raymond operator.
• Ability to prepare and adhere to a budget.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Mansioni

• Assess and analyze operations processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and minimize expenses.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting expenses, preparation of budgets, analyzes variances and develops action plans to correct variances as needed.
• Achieve operational objectives by reviewing metrics and pertinent information; make recommendations and lead implementation of actions.
• Lead cross functional teams in development and execution of best practices and projects.
• Promote lean and strict inventory management principles and processes.
• Oversee Warehouse and Transportation operations to meet customer service expectations.
