Job summary

Prosource-LL seeks an Operations Manager to establish and implement short- and long-range objectives for the Operations Department. You will oversee related functions and administer company policies, owning all over-the-road and internal operations, including cross-training, manpower planning, rate inspection, engagement, performance management, and 5S implementation.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and present ideas, reports, and budgets in various formats.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• May assist branch management in the hiring and training of new operations staff.
• Oversees day-to-day workflow of staff within the Operations Department.
• Conducts or assists with performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Assists in employment actions, including discipline and termination in accordance with policy.
• Monitors departmental performance; identifies opportunities to increase productivity.
• Manages daily aspects of the branch and its staff to meet projects and customer needs.
• Collaborates with managers to plan, direct, and coordinate programs and projects.
• Analyzes costs, benefits, and losses of company profit.
• Drafts, submits, and presents performance and management reports.
• Assists in inventory management and verifies costs and receipts.
