Job summary

Adecco Group, a global staffing leader, seeks a Site Manager to lead a large shift on our Michigan site. You will direct supervisors, technicians, and operations staff, driving performance and ensuring safety and quality standards across the operation.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years of supervisory production experience, and strong Lean/6 Sigma knowledge. You will collaborate with senior management to optimize processes and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience of production staff.
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally.
• Able to interact with all levels of staff and management, including Senior Management and HR.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify problem areas and recommend improvements.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs.
• Experience with manufacturing or process management (5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience of production staff.
• Focus on process or continuous improvement skills.
• Experience with data processing, including macro writing.
• Knowledge of digitization or scaling operations.
• PMP/PMI experience or certification.
• Automotive or other manufacturing experience related to managing complex processes.
• Experience tracking metrics or enforcing performance for large teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive production staff performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising results.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, motivate, encourage and train entry level employees.
• Maintain staff by training employees; and developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repair; evaluate new equipment and techniques.
• Provide operational information by collecting, initiating, sorting and analyzing production data.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on equipment use and policies; ensure compliance with procedures; manage complex spreadsheets.
