Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience of production staff.
• Experience with manufacturing or process management (5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive production staff performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, motivate and train entry level employees.
• Maintain staff by training employees; and developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repair: evaluate new equipment and techniques.
• Provide operational information by compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures; operate with complex spreadsheets.
