Job summary

Adecco Group in Michigan is seeking a Site Manager to lead a shift on a large site operation. You will supervise supervisors, technicians and production staff, set expectations, coach teams and drive performance to meet production goals and quality standards.

You will optimize processes, implement 5S/Lean practices, manage equipment reliability, and maintain a safe, compliant working environment. The role requires strong communication, problem solving and data-driven decision making, with 5+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience of production staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interact with all levels including Senior Management.
• Problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical ability to identify problems and propose improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Experience with manufacturing or process management (5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Process improvement and digitization concepts.
• PMP/PMI experience or certification.
• Automotive or other manufacturing experience for complex processes.
• Experience tracking production metrics.

Responsibilities

• Drive production staff performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising results.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, motivate and train entry level employees.
• Maintain staff by training employees; and developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure operation of equipment by evaluating and repairing or upgrading as needed.
• Provide operational information by compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production performance records.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating personnel on equipment use and policies; ensuring compliance.
• Operate with complex spreadsheets.
