Job summary

BW Packaging is seeking a Director of Site Operations to lead a single manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance aligned with regional strategies.

The role partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence to meet customer commitments, and may oversee site engineering resources. It requires developing leaders and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing operations leadership.
• Experience improving cost structure, delivery reliability, and performance.
• Ability to lead and develop leaders in multi-shift environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards.
• Experience in a matrixed organization and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the facility to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Own site-level P&L within parameters and partner on budgeting/forecasting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence to meet customer expectations.
• Drive Lean and problem-solving methods to standardize processes and eliminate waste.
• Develop site leaders and foster a culture of care, engagement, and high performance.
