Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Foreman to lead network infrastructure and cabling projects at Cedar Rapids (IA) and Des Moines (IA). The role emphasizes development, management, customer engagement, and strong leadership across site activities.

The candidate will oversee crews, monitor milestones, ensure safety, review designs, and coordinate with Project Managers and Field Engineers for quality delivery. A proven track record in large-scale builds is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in installation of cabling tech, rack infra, and large-scale builds.
• Ability to lead multiple crews and manage time effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of copper and fiber installs, terminations, and certifications.
• Read and understand drawings/blueprints and portmaps.
• Certified cabling tech (CFTT) and/or CFI, or equivalent.
• Understand local region install standards and codes.
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to onsite Project Manager and align with schedule and directives.
• Capture updates from Leads and submit to Project Manager weekly.
• Oversee milestones, productivity, safety, and QA/QC checks.
• Coordinate with Field Engineers and other trades for execution.
• Manage and control labor on assigned projects.
• Validate project data, track quality, efficiency, and delivery.
• Review and verify material requirements for builds.
• Attend customer design/build review meetings as needed.
• Support new deployment and live site requests; engage with new tech.
• Ensure adherence to customer rules, guidelines, and processes.
