Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Owner’s Rep/Senior Project Manager to lead large, high-profile construction projects with direct accountability for delivery. This onsite role offers relocation assistance for the right candidate.

You’ll monitor site progress, review contractor documents, prepare risk and status reports, and ensure designs and specs meet requirements. Strong leadership and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to solve unique problems with broad business impact.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Suite products (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Strong organizational skills and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify alignment with drawings and specs.
• Review contractor and vendor documentation, including costs and subcontracts.
• Prepare project status and risk assessments; recommend fund releases.
• Evaluate budgets with cost advisory coordination and quantity take-offs.
• Comment on terms of agreements and ensure qualification statements are up to date.
• Oversee schedules, permits, surveys, and approvals for large projects.
• Coach and lead teams; influence stakeholders at senior levels to align objectives.
• Contribute to process improvements and new business initiatives.
