Job summary

Worley is seeking a Superintendent - Mechanical to lead on-site mechanical construction activities for major industrial projects. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, coordinate field operations, and ensure safety, quality, and alignment with project objectives.

You will guide subcontractors, manage schedules and resources, and work with engineering, procurement, quality, commissioning, and project management teams to deliver sustainable, high-performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with extensive mechanical construction leadership experience.
• Experience supervising mechanical construction projects in industrial or large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of installation of mechanical equipment and related practices.
• Ability to manage schedules, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Experience with mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and turnover processes.
• Experience working with customers, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coordinating, and supervising all on-site mechanical construction activities to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with schedules and budgets.
• Driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Overseeing field administration, procurement coordination, subcontractor management, and field engineering activities.
• Acting as primary site contact for mechanical construction execution and ensuring strong communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Providing leadership and technical guidance to mechanical personnel and subcontractors.
• Monitoring progress, evaluating performance, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
