We seek a Business Segment Controller to partner with the business unit manager and lead site finance activities. The role emphasizes manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and working capital optimization, reporting to the Division VP of Business Unit Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or master's preferred.
• 7+ years in progressive manufacturing accounting/finance roles.
• 3-5 years of leadership or managerial experience; strong GAAP/SOX knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts; analyze revenue, profitability, expenses, and working capital.
• Monitor KPIs, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support product development.
• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, physical counts, and obsolete reserves.
• Drive working capital improvements across receivables, inventory, and payables.
• Evaluate capital expenditures with NPV analyses and financial modeling.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and policies.
• Support internal and external audits and divisional reporting.
