Job summary

Mars in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Total Productive Maintenance / Supply Excellence Manager on the Site Leadership Team to drive a world-class manufacturing transformation and embed TPM and Lean thinking across the factory.

You will coach leaders and operators, standardize Daily Management Systems, and lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, SMED, and Heijunka to deliver sustainable improvements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Proven CI/Lean/TPM implementations.
• Coaching Lean/TPM concepts across all levels.
• Experience influencing peers without direct authority.
• Hands-on Lean toolkit implementation (VSM, Kanban, SMED, 5S, Kaizen).
• Familiarity with Daily Management Systems (FMOS or similar).

Responsibilities

• Sit on Site Leadership Team and help co-author the long-term factory roadmap.
• Architect the site-wide transformation and mature the MSE/TPM system.
• Develop future leaders and mentor associates across all levels.
• Standardize excellence with Daily Management Systems and standardized work.
• Lead Kaizen events and rollout VSM, Kanban, SMED, and Heijunka.
• Partner with Technical and Reliability teams to weave TPM into daily operations.
• Lead the Training Team with Regional Training to ensure world-class standards.
