Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an entry-level Site Manager 1 to lead the Bacchus Value Stream Operations Team, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, employee development, and cost objectives are met across the site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of manufacturing experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years, plus strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience manufacturing, or Master’s Degree and 3 years' experience in manufacturing.
• Candidate must have at 1 - 3 years managing in a manufacturing or related environment.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Excellent interpersonal/leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to work with and satisfy internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate initiatives plans and expectations.
• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Pilgrim.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of assigned location program objectives from inception through completion.
• Responsible for site specific technical statement of work / performance and overall site operations.
• He/she responsible for all site day to day activities of assigned program site, including employees timesheets, performance evaluations, facility, safety, security and daily production and directs the work of employees assigned from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
• He/she provides leadership, guidance, and career development to all site employees.
• Ensures adherence to Northrop Grumman and PS Human Resources policies.
• He/she maintains close coordination with the OA and Site 2 Manager.
