Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a seasoned on-site leader to own the Autonomous Haulage Solution (AHS) deployment and ongoing success at a mining site in the Northern Nevada region. You will coordinate Caterpillar product groups, dealers, and customer stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and safety.

In this role, you will lead Autonomous Application Specialists, Project Engineers, and On-Board Specialists, while building executive-level relationships with mine leadership and site decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in autonomous mine operations, mining technology, and Command for Hauling environments.
• Background in field support, mine operations, Autonomous Run Teams, or site-based technology roles.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and align multiple teams without direct authority.
• Consultative mindset with strong commitment to customer success and operational excellence.
• Ability to navigate sensitive issues, influence stakeholders, and drive action across organizations.
• College or university degree or equivalent experience; mining engineering degrees are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Represent Caterpillar on site and lead the success of the Autonomous Haulage Solution (AHS).
• Coordinate Caterpillar product groups, dealers, and customer stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Lead and support Autonomous Application Specialists, Project Engineers, and Autonomous On-Board Specialists.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with mine leadership and key decision-makers.
