The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, administrative, and communication skills, with a background in supervising staff and leasing. Bilingual English/Somali is a plus to serve a diverse resident population.

The Role:

You will be the backbone of two properties with a 71-unit apartment combined community in Minneapolis, ensuring our residents have a safe, clean, and functional place to live. Project Base Section 8/42 and Tax Credit combo. The ideal candidate must be skilled in working with client services and a diverse population to include long-term homeless and disabled clients. We encourage candidates who are bilingual in English and Somali to apply, as this is helpful in serving our resident population. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Rent Collection: Receive and deposit rent payments & initiate late rent notices
• Staff Supervision: Monitor performance & approve timecards
• Leasing: Market property and work with applicants from tours through move-in
• Certifications: Process paperwork in accordance with subsidy programs
• Oversee Property: Ensure a clean, safe environment is provided for residents and staff

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 2 years of property management experience that included leasing, staff supervision, working with service providers, long-term homeless and Coordinated Entry.
• Skills: Excellent customer service, administrative, clerical, verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize as well as multi-task.
• Licensing: Valid Driver's License, insurance and a reliable vehicle are a must.
• Software Programs: Yardi & Rent Café experience a plus.
