Job summary

Property Solutions & Services, Inc. in the Twin Cities seeks a Site Manager with 2–3 years of affordable housing management experience to oversee a property on site. You will market, qualify income, coordinate move-ins, and manage tenant relations.

You will input data into Yardi, handle rent collection, and contribute to budgets while supervising staff. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of affordable housing management experience.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and work with diverse populations.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and Yardi Voyager.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Marketing, reviewing applications, and income qualification.
• Conduct inspections, assign work orders to staff or vendors.
• Move in residents and explain lease documents.
• Build tenant relations and maintain files.
• Input maintenance work orders and complete filing.
• Answer phones and handle special projects.
• Train new assistant site managers.
• Collect rent and enter data into Yardi; file unlawful detainers.
• Ensure compliance with Section 8, tax credits, or deferred loans.
• Monitor financials and budgets; manage staff.

Property Solutions & Services, Inc., (PSS) provides property management and real estate consulting services to owners and non-profit organizations within the Twin Cities. For the past 30 years, we have successfully managed affordable housing for lower income individuals and families, and we are looking for new talent to join our growing company. This is a position for those that have 2-3 years of property management experience. We are looking for an individual to manage a property, who is skilled in working with diverse populations for properties in Twin Cities.

• Marketing, reviewing applications, and income qualify applicants
• Conducting thorough inspections prior to move in, assigning work orders to caretakers, maintenance, or vendors
• Moving in new residents and understanding and explaining all lease documents
• Building tenant relations
• Inputting maintenance work orders
• Maintaining tenant files
• Filing
• Answering phones
• Completing additional special projects.

Requirements for consideration:

• At least 2-3 years of affordable housing management experience.
• Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to pass a background check.

The starting salary is $60-$65K

The hours for the position are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm.

Our managers DO NOT live on site.
