Job summary

cobaltrecruitment is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a 6-week industrial strip-out and roofing project in Carlisle, starting Monday 19 October. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day management on site, coordinating subcontractors and site operatives, and ensuring works meet programme and safety standards.

The role requires SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Fire Marshal, Asbestos Awareness, strong IT skills for site reporting, and a proven track record on industrial, strip-out,

Qualifications

• SMSTS is required.
• CSCS is required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Fire Marshal responsibilities knowledge is required.
• Asbestos Awareness knowledge is required.
• Strong IT skills for site documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site operatives
• Plan and coordinate strip-out and roofing activities
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the programme
• Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site
• Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
• Review RAMS and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved methods
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries and progress reports
• Monitor quality and ensure works meet the required standards
• Liaise with the project team, subcontractors and client representatives
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays to the programme
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and housekeeping
