Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Site Supervisor on a permanent basis to lead a re-roofing and solar PV scheme in Halifax. You will report to a Project Manager and oversee programme delivery on site.

You will ensure HSE compliance, manage subcontractors, liaise with clients and tenants, order materials, and monitor quality and progress to keep the project on time and within budget. A stable, progressive career history and tickets are required.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid tickets are required.
• Proven track record delivering refurbishment schemes, ideally with roofing experience.
• Stable and progressive career history on CV.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the programme of works is completed within timescales and budget.
• Maintain health and safety and promote a positive H&S culture on site.
• Monitor quality of work and liaise with the client.
• Order materials and coordinate with Tenant Liaison Officer to ensure tenant satisfaction.

We are working with a well established and longstanding Social Housing Contractor who have a great company culture and ethos. The company get regular repeat business from their clients, and have a great reputation due to the quality of work they deliver.

They have been awarded new contracts, alongside their existing contracts with clients. As a result, they are seeking a Site Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis, working on a re‑roofing & solar PV scheme in Halifax.

You will be reporting into a Project Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team.
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Ordering materials
• Working closely with the Tenant Liaison Officer and ensuring tenant satisfaction is maintained

Experience needed:

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Refurbishment schemes, ideally with some roofing experience.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is up to £35k plus car allowance and other benefits (fuel card, pension, bonus etc.)
